He was called the "Crown Prince of Baseball" and was a pitcher until he developed a stiff neck from ducking line drives, after that he stopped serving up gopher balls and started handing out laughs. He was once the world's worst pitcher and became baseball's funniest guy! Book features a foreword by John Kieran with grammar and adjectives by Murray Goodman. Note the nice vintage art cover by Hy Rubin. Book is a 1949 Bantam #507 paperback with 152 pages. See scans. It is in good to very good condition., complete and unabridged.
